About TCS Country Supplies
TCS Country Supplies Ltd. has supplied the farming and local community in Gloucestershire and beyond for 44 years. Established in Berkeley Heath in 1973, we began as a small, family-run enterprise, delivering dairy & fencing fixtures, farming tools and other equipment to local farmers. From its modest origins, the company has flourished into a burgeoning business supplying the county and further afield, whilst maintaining a loyal and respected clientele and a team of dedicated and knowledgeable staff.
At TCS we strive to provide all our customers with the best deal possible on world-renowned brands, often besting prices of our larger competitors. We offer an extensive range of products; from equestrian, clothing and footwear to farming, fencing and building supplies. Our experienced and helpful staff are always happy to advise you, ensuring you get the best product to suit your needs. Can’t find what you need on our website? Don’t hesitate to contact us by phone, email or visit our shop. Enthusiastic staff are always available to discuss your requirements and give you advice and a keen quotation.
Tony trained in agriculture and worked on his family’s dairy farm before setting up the business (originally known as Tony Cullimore Services) in 1973. He began by selling pressure washers and dairy supplies to nearby farmers whom he visited to establish their other farming requirements. Using this knowledge Tony developed a shop on the family farm, which he also used to test some of the products he sold.
Setting up trade stands at local shows and markets helped to advertise the business during the early stages. Tony gradually employed staff from the local area who greatly helped to build up the business.
During this time, Tony also started The Cattle Country Adventure Park and The Barn at Berkeley function facility on the farm. He continues to farm and oversee the businesses and his interests include wildlife conservation, badminton and skiing.
Martin has worked with the TCS parent company for fourteen years, being involved in various aspects of the business. In 2010 he became manager of TCS. His enthusiastic approach has allowed the business to grow rapidly. Martin is usually available on the premises to assist customers whenever necessary. He is fully responsible for the daily running of the business, together with his staff.
Steve worked on a farm from the age of eight before attending agricultural college. He pursued a career in livestock nutrition sales before joining us in 2010. He specialises in animal feeds, but is involved in our entire range of agricultural products. Steve is often out on the road visiting farms and stables and is always available to call in to customers to give particular advice. Horses are always around him at home with his other interests being hill walking and photography
Stuart is involved in agricultural sales and specialises particularly in grass seed and dairy. He is also responsible for online marketing and writes the TCS Country Supplies newsletter. Coming from a farming background, and having worked as a contractor on local farms, Stuart can offer sound advice on agricultural needs. He is an active member of Gloucestershire Young Farmers and has a keen interest in vintage farm machinery.
Sam is the equine specialist at TCS Country Supplies and is also involved in our shooting and pet ranges. In addition to this she manages our online shop.
Sam has many years experience in equine sales and owns horses herself, participating in hunting, eventing and dressage, as well as being an active member of local riding clubs. Sam enjoys clay pigeon shooting and owns five spaniels that accompany her on shoots. Her broad knowledge in this area makes for valuable advice on the range of equine products we have to offer. Sam holds an SQP qualification allowing her to supply and offer advice on wormers.
Warren is the person you are most likely to see in the shop, as this is his area of responsibility. Here he is available to give friendly help and advice whenever necessary.
Warren loves playing computer games, but it would be unfair to call him a geek!
John is our driver who delivers large and small loads to customers far and wide. He has always lived in the area and his knowledge of the local countryside is invaluable to us.
Vicky is the accountant for all businesses in the Berkeley Heath group. When she had more time to look after her horse she greatly enjoy riding, but now her favourite sport is running.
Ethan is a university student during the week, but is normally found helping in the shop on Saturdays. He has been with us for three years and his enthusiastic manner and youthful strength is a great asset to the business.
